Rob ShaplandHead of Awareness
Rob Shapland is an ethical hacker with 10 years’ experience conducting penetration tests for hundreds of organisations, from small businesses to major international organisations.
He specialises in simulating advanced cyber attacks against corporate networks, combining technical attacks with his other hobby of dressing up and tricking his way into company headquarters using social engineering techniques.
He is also a regular speaker at events and conferences around Europe, and has appeared on both BBC and ITV as a cyber security adviser.
Mike McLaughlinHead of Assess
Mike heads up the Assessment team at Falanx Cyber working with a team of talented ethical hackers to provide cyber security testing services for clients in various business sectors, including retail, banking and government. His key skills include a deep knowledge of network protocols and communications, operating systems and highly technical exploits.
For Mike information security is a vocation not just a job. Having worked in the information security industry since 2006, he is passionate about security whether in the corporate arena or personal home environment. He has appeared in a number of BBC Click productions and is a regular contributor to industry publications.
Meghan GrangeOperations Manager
As Operations Manager with Falanx Cyber, Meghan is currently responsible for day to day management of the business, as well as all operational co-ordination and relationship management between the Monitoring, Penetration Testing, Consultancy and Sales teams. Meghan has been with Falanx since 2017, she holds a BA in History from the University of Nottingham, and prior to her role with Falanx, she spent several years working for a global insurance provider.
George CossinsSOC Manager
George is currently responsible for both the Protective Monitoring and Incident Response functions within Falanx Cyber. Having previously joined Falanx in order to assist with the creation, development and bringing to market of the Monitoring service, George has since acted as a Protective Monitoring Consultant, Technical Manager and most recently SOC Manager. George has worked within the cyber security industry for 8 years with organisations including UK Central Government, multi-national defence contractors, large Systems Integrators and small-to-medium enterprises.
